Athletics

In the morning when our classroom  was opened the teachers were  putting our group names on our hand then after that we were getting ready for  our Athletics day when we were ready  we got to the court. When we got to the court we mr  Burt told us the rules  and then we went to our games. The first game that I went to  was tug of war   to play this game you have to grab a group for you and then ones you have a group you have to put something  in the metal of the rop like a tag then someone will say go and then you pull it will look like this

Then at the end of the rop there has to be someone big and strong at the end then of the rop and then you have to turn the other way and pull  and once the game is done then they see how won.

My Bread

The hawler kids

One day there were three kids waking in the bush. There names were DJ TJ and Sam. They loved walking in the Bush but this time it was diffent when they whent For a walk samething came out of the Bush it was big and had big eyes and they were green he was a dog but way more diffent he was a hawler and he was black DJ TJ and sam were scered of him but not sam he loved dogs and cats but this one was diffent.Sam loved diffent dogs no matter what dog it is.well this hawler loved sam so sam was so happy to take him home but there was samething that the hawler dident wont to live his family but sam sad i think they will be ok for know and when they were going home and sam named it NoNa the hawler.So DJ TJ Sam and the hawler NoNa were waking back to were they came froom and sam was so happy to have a pet.

The next morning the hawley family were looking for NoNa they didn't now that NoNa was going to came back.but they saw a black hawler that looked just like NoNa.NoNa’s family were hiding and they waited for the fall moon to rise well they were waiting it happened the full moon rises now NoNa was going to came back to the pack.

The next morning NoNa was gone sam was sad so he went to DJ TJ and there little sister so he got help from them. they found NoNa and put a glass in front of him now NoNa can see how he wants from bad to good and he found DJ TJ and Sam as his family now sam can have his pet back.

Ginger beer

When i opened my Ginger beer  it made my legs stick and at the end everyone had to drink there Ginger bee but it was fun when we saw the explosions in the yeast.Our class was so happy to see and open our Ginger beer but it was bad when we drank it. but it was fun thanks to miss king  and our class room teachers.

Runaway Rodot

There lived a crazy scientist that made a Robot.The Robot’s name is Raven he look’s like a grefen but a Robot grefen he was the best invention that the crazy scientist has made antill he made a nether Robot.Raven was sad so he went out the door without know one knowing he went to a place called New Zealand and when he was flying above Pt Englad street he sat on a tree and looked down and he saw a girl and her name is hope.He wanted a nice friend for him so he got one.He landed on  the grown  and said hi and hope looked at him and he looked at her and she looked back wow you are a robot that is a grefen yes i am how do you know that wall i can tell that you are so can i be your friend yes can i be your friend yes so the robot Raven was happy and he was living with her but he lived out side. Scientist

There was a Bionic Island with a crazy and mad Scientist and her name is NoNa. Sometimes she makes things like lightning clouds and mountain explosions.She has long crazy hair and green eyes she lives on Bionic Island. She makes crazy things in her Scientist Lab.Same times things go wrong on  Bionic Island.

Then something went wrong  she had made a big explosion on Bionic Island.There was a huge black hole on Bionic Island some of the people on Bionic Island.

NoNa The Mad Scientist knew she had to fix this so she did she time traveled all the way back to when she dane the explosion so she went inside her lab she made a big explosion so she can fix this. so the explosions were combined and then the explosions were gone.

Modern Olympics

The Olympic of 1896 in Athens in Greece had fourteen countries taking part with most of the athletes from Greece.this first  modern Olympics was the largest meeting of international competitors that have ever occurred.

The next Olympics held in Paris four years later was the first  to allow women competitors this time  the Olympics were part of a much bigger event that lasted several months.

Ben Johnson

Ben  Johnson  Didn't look human to everyone.He had big red eyes and he had huge musclos.The start was phenomenal.

He was so Far ahead it was a 100 meter sprint the  race was  over after 50 meters.All eyes were on two men Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis. Ben Johnson broke  the  world record.

When Ben Johnson got a gold medal he ran to the airport  so now one caught him but the president caught him the medal was  stripped of and the president  gave it to Carl Lewis. They tested his urine and they had new that he had drgs so now he is banded from

Fencing

There are three different swords like Epee and Foil and the last one is Sabre.The Epee is heavy but teen at the end The Foil is light and it is also teen at the end the Saber is like The Epee it is heavy like the Epee but it is also light at the end.

In the olden days fencing looked like art with the nice ten strokes of the end of the sword. When it was the Olympics In the old days the lights did not go on and of. In our days the lights do go on and of.

Usain Bolt  was in Courage in the race and he was proud of himself also winning for his  country. when Usain Bolt got into the final he was excited to try and win the gold medal so he did  try and win  By concentrating on the racetrack and he won.Jamaica was the first country to win in sprinting.Usain Bolt never gave up so that is how he won.

Jarreka's Pheidippides story

The Greeks were in war with the Persians.Soon the war ended.

The general sent this man his name is Pheidippides.The general said to Pheidippides to send a message to Athens so Pheidippides went on to spread the message out to Athens.

As  Pheidippides arrived in Athens he said “Joy! We won!” he collapse and his last breath as he died. From now on this story will be remembered because of the Marathon race.

The ancient Greeks started the tradition of having an Olympic flame. In Olympia a sacred flame is lit by the sun's rays and stays alight until the games have ended. The flame symbolized a request for protection from Zeus and the athletes’ struggles for victory.

The modern flame symbolizes the light of the spirit, knowledge and life. To this day, the torch is still lit in Olympia in Greece, then carried by a relay team, passing runner to runner, until it reaches the host-city of the games.There, the cauldron will be lit and stay alight until the closing ceremony.

How I feel about my artwork or the whole process.	I felt really excited because of a really cool activity The activity was to do art.When we did art it was really frustrating for me because .I could not stop wiggling.
What did I enjoy most of all or what was the best thing about my painting.	I enjoyed most of my designs on my painting.Most of the activity that we done. The art was so hard for me when I done the paint.
What did I find hard or I didn’t like.	The things that I found hard was how we had to paint the little designs. On our own painting paper. I did not like to restart by putting white paint on my work.
How can I do my art better next time?	By moving forward with  my work.And fixing my problems. then we will learning more thing’s.
What was the most interesting thing I did or my friends did.	That we had to take for days to make our art.Our teacher Miss King had to take photos to put them on a computer. When our art was finished it was interesting to put our art in the hall on a computer.
What did I learn most about?	That doing art is a good exercise for our class. Art is cool as will.Then next time we can be artiest.

Pathway What geometry feature does your pathway show? What did you do to make sure pathway?	In my garden my pathway shows… that i have a rotational symmetry in it. it has tryangles in the greden. To make my pathway I...had tryangles to make my rotational pathway. This means that..i had a rotational garden.

Te Tuhi trip

First thing in the morning  room 11 and 12 went on a trip to Te Tuhi  the art gallery But first the teaches split them  into 2 groups. The first group went in the morning. We had to put our lunch into one big bag.  When    the first group went on the trip .The second group  Stayed behind doing wetting reading and maths.The  first group went on a school  bus to Te Tuhi they meet the same person as us his name is Jeremy. He sowed the first group around te Tuhi then they Said bye to Jeremy politely And went back on the school bus at morning tea time The bus arrives at Point England school. Then a teacher Mr Moran And the other teachers were checking if all the kids were there to go on the bus. Then we went on to the bus and said hello to the bus driver.We sing songs on the way to the Art gallery. When we got to the art gallery  we saw Jeremy. Jeremy showed us the art gallery.but first he showed us the room when you create thing’s. So we made our favorite hours.After that we went to a theatre. At the theatre we saw the same opggs from the theatre. After that we said goodbye to him.

Tamarereti

     

There was a taniwha that lived in a spicol  lake called lake taupo. The people were fitned by the  taniwha so at night they would stay  inside because of the taniwha. in the morning there was a boy called tamarereti he was starving so he went out fishing  when he did the boot stop the  whened  could not catch up Anymore. so tamarereti  went to sleep .when he  was sleeping the wind  picked up and  the  boot    blue  the on a different island. Tamarereti Was in big trouble.He was starving so he cook the fish Well  he was thinking of a plane  to get home.He saw some pillows on the side of the beach and  picked them up. He put as many pillows as he can get  and put them in the boot. He hop in the boot and Threw  the pillows up in the sky .The Taniwha did not came after  him. He  got home safely and whent street to seep  as the night went on in the morning there was a  guest at tamarereti opined the door  and he take a little pike  and he soarer Ranginui But he seed The sky looks beautiful now  thank you for making the sky brut now the taniwha  won’t came to us.So that is how new Zealand Had stres.

The Frog

Big wide eyes looking for prey a hint of a cricket floating along the creek. The frog was getting ready to catch his prey.  The frog stuck his tongue out he got and he felt happy.

The Blob

Nestled within the blue and yellow pillow eager children anticipated the ride. The countdown was on. Three, two, one.  Terror mixed with excitement was written all over their faces as they  were catapulted towards the sky.  Spinning, twirling and tumbling the children twisted their way through the air.  As they plummeted towards the water their faces grinned in delight. Splash! “Can i have another go please?”

The New NZ flag

New Zealanders have begun voting on whether to change their flag from a design which features the British Union Jack to one which features a silver fern. Some people say that the current flag is too similar to Australia’s flag. Also, New Zealand is no longer a part of Britain and we need a flag that represents our nation.
